THE LUTHER LEAGUE SENIOR FELLOWSHIP (LLSF)

This is a special group in nature as it is made up of a transitional organ of the ELCZ. The church established this organ as a response to the needs of young adults. It serves as a bridge crossing from the Youths to the adults. The aims and objectives of this organ include:

a. Provision of facilities that seeks to see young adults (LLSF) being well nurtured in faith as they grow into adulthood in the church and to support and actively participate in the mission of the church.

b. To foster and or cultivate spiritual growth, seeking to be better disciples and active witnesses of Jesus Christ at home, places of work and in society.

c. To support the Luther League (youths) by providing guidance, counseling and mentoring support at individual and group levels.

d. The organ seeks to promote the culture of reading the bible, teaching of the church, fellowship and prayer at personal and corporate levels according to Acts 2:42.

e. Creating forums on teaching in arrears faith, family and relationships, financial matters, doctrinal matters, social concerns, stewardship and leadership training.

The membership is composed of full ELCZ members who are fully subscribed and are 24-35 years of age. the membership shall not exceed 5 years.

Married people below the age of 24 above 18. members shall be required to pay subscriptions at their parishes as shall from time to time be determined by the national secretariat.

Affiliate membership.

  1. All Luther League members who are at tertiary level and fall below age of 24.
  2. all members who have become full members of others organs such as Women (Manyano) and Witnesses.
  3. All interested persons not exceeding the age of 40 who are full members of ELCZ.

NB. Membership is voluntary and shall be induction as a per church liturgical traditions.

Leadership Structure.

The leadership structure comprises of  all ELCZ structures from Congregation, Parish, Deanery, Diocese and National.
