THE WITNESSES (MEN’S FELLOWSHIP)

The Men’s Fellowship is called Witnesses. The word Witness can be translated into local languages used in the church and still retain the same meaning, for example:

  • Lipaki in Sotho
  • Zwapupu in Shona

The Witnesses, as an organ of the ELCZ, are guided by the values and norms of our Lord Jesus Christ, of love, tolerance, forgiveness and reconciliation. The organ is desirous to promote human well-being and eternal Salvation through the teaching and witnessing of the Gospel based on faith, Grace and the Scriptures.

c. To visit homes, hospitals, and prisons, to pray and care for the sick, the aged, orphans, the needy and those prisoned.
